City-owned sewage company PD PAL Jaya, socialized the waste management pilot program in Sentiong River for people living in RW 05 and 07, Serdang, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"Waste will be handled by installing a biopal and an intercepter," disclosed PD PAL Jaya's Research and Development Assistant Manager Johan Sufandi, Tuesday (3/26).
PAL Jaya Continues to Socialize Communal IPAL MaintenanceLater on, biopal will be installed around the residents' house or at the corner of the road and intercepter will be installed by accommodating wastewater to be flowed into the waste treatment plant (IPAL).
"We explain the benefits of this system and poor sanitation which can trigger diarrhea, etc," he uttered.
At Jalan Serdang and Delta, his side plans to develop 20 units of mini communal. One mini communal and two interceptors are provided for eight to ten houses.
"It is targeted to be finished in the upcoming September," he said.
